apart from the odd snarkiness, dyeing leather shoes is terrible advice, particularly navy. Surely it will look patchy and come off all over the wearer's feet whenever they sweat/it rains/steps in a puddle. DIY-dyeing things like t shirts is very different to leather shoes.

Does anyone have these and can give feedback? I've been looking at them for ages but can't find anywhere to try them on in store and CBA to buy online and return.

I'm torn between the fact that they do (IMO) tend towards the hideous, and the fact that a tan pair for summer office wear might be the holy grail combination of both work-appropriate and also airy enough to wear without tights or sweaty feet. Sandals are verboten (and also too chilly in an aircon office).

MN always makes me realise how much I am missing out. OP those are very lady like / smart shoes but my.first thought was that I wouldn't be able to run very fast in them .... says alot about my line of work 😉and why I have no nice clothes or shoes whatsoever.

Seriously though do those kind of shoes last that long, and what kind of occasion are they good for? I am so out of touch with any fashion at all

I don't sadly but I would like to know how people wear hush puppies without blisters as I had 3 pairs and every single one caused me horrendous blisters ( even with socks! )

Hi OP, before buying them pls look at a website called VIVAIA. When I say they ARE unbelievably comfortable I am not exaggerating & they are stylish. @Kayemm if they have a site for a different country, they may sell different colours for different markets? Or try something like John Lewis, or Zalando as they may have a run in an ‘exclusive’ colour (or dye them as others have said).

I really like these. I wear a lot of navy and don’t like wearing black shoes. If I can’t find navy I quite like a metallic. Think the gold could look lovely. My friend bought some gold Clarks brogues and they looked great with everything.

I think she was just speaking “tongue in cheek”, like saying something with a wink, sometimes the spirit of a remark can be lost in text.

So, I made a face when I saw these shoes but when I really looked at them and saw the tan ones I actually think they're really smart and would be lovely with a nice pair of black or navy trousers.

I don't usually wear flats but I'd wear these ones.
