Outfit for day drinks and dinner and generally!

I’m 37, nearly 38 and feel as if I’ve lost my style that I had pre children 🙈I feel like sometimes I choose clothes that are now “too young” and also no longer suit my changed body. I’m 6ft, size 12 with (I’m saying it out loud) a bit of a tummy now. Up until about three years ago, I was a size 8/10 and a total gym bunny. I feel as if half my wardrobe is for that 34 year old rather than me now and struggle in particular with dresses up outfits. Any tips/brands/shops for my age group and/or fellow tallies?! Thank you so much

I'm 5ft 10in, trousers are always a struggle but generally Zara and M&S Long work for me. I like Reiss, other stories, mint velvet and French Connection too.

For drinks/dinner maybe try a long satin skirt with a jumper and boots. Or wide leg trousers and a jumper. Might not win any style awards but I feel nice in it.

I've attached a pic which show the kind of thing I mean. Might not be your thing at all but the style suits my height and tum.

I love this idea! It’s sort of like what I wear to the office but feels more dressed up and chic. I tend to wear long dresses and boots and blazers generally there. And also I like that you’re free to wear good shapewear under it too to feel more confident! Thank you so much, I’m off to have a look at skirts ❤️Also love Reiss too, their sale this year was great and I did see a few things I really liked.
