I am overweight and a big 14-16 on a very short body.
I've gained another half a stone over Christmas and my ok clothes are awful. I feel horrid and and am going away this weekend and want to feel ok. Bit late in the day and I have clearly been head in sand and ignoring thoughts of what to wear Little of my wardrobe fits. Which I need to change.
I usually wear straight jeans , shirt, jumper
I also have One black top on repeat for going out (I know I know )
One "pull and bear" small granny print brown and orange dress - surprisingly flattering with tights and boots for a casual pub trip
Pleather trousers - not leggings - look "ok" with a polo neck
Wide leg black trousers with trainers - top is usually a t shirt tucked with a shirt over
I have a more formal green high neck dress with short sleeve but come to my elbow - too smart for where we are going though.
We'll be daytime drinks / ambling / walking in a park/ coffee then casual meal and pub kind of thing. Nothing fancy.
I own tonnes of coats but nothing super nice .
Reading that all back, I need to go shopping on arrival don't I ? What would you buy for a quick and cheap daytime outfit ? Was thinking wide leg jeans maybe at m and s and just buy what fits and not look at size! But my top half ? Am huge of belly. I have some nice jumpers so maybe a new shirt and jeans with one of those over is ok for bumbling about. Attached pic of my green dress so you can see my shape. Help me please vipers
