Best shape wear for my huge belly!

I've got an event coming up where I need to look my absolute best. One obstacle to this is my horrible menopausal belly that makes me look pregnant. It's flab, not bloat, and I just want to be able to flatten it.

I have an M&S shaping body suit that's not too bad, but I think I can do better. I'm thinking a another body suit as shaping pants just push the flab up and out of the top. I'm also pretty straight up and down, no waist, so body suits are better an "cinching" my waist in.

I've had a look at the Skims website and the Spanx website but I'm just more confused now. M&S has a really firm control body suit but it has a bra type fastening at the back which I wouldn't be able to do up (I fasten my bras at the front then twist them around as I've always had really inflexible shoulders). I also need something with a crotch that is easy to open and close as I tend to go need to wee lots!

So, what should I go for? Happy to spend up to about £100 on the right thing that I can use again and again.

Went to a wedding recently, I wore m&s shaping briefs then the slip over the top. It wasn't as concrete as you'd imagine but I felt better. Yes my tummy still showed but not as much due to the dress style I wore.

My friend puts on 2 pairs of "hold you in pants" when she's going to a special occasion. She swears by this!.

same here and it's 100% flab in my case too. I’ve tried a bunch of bodysuits and the one I keep coming back to is from miraclesuit. It holds the tummy in without shoving everything somewhere else and somehow shows off those curves I didnt even know I had lol. Bonus: the crotch opening is practical and I wear it for hours
