Terrible non-surgical nose-job

I have name-changed for this and please be kind as it's a sensitive issue for me!

Many years ago a very abusive (and much older) boyfriend broke my nose during an argument. For some reason my parents didn't think to take me to A&E and I didn't have the forethought to either, as I was only in my teens.

So my large-ish anyway nose ended up looking twisted to the side, my septum is deviated, I hate hate hate it.

So when non-surgical rhinoplasties because available I was really happy as I could afford this (just). Have been getting these done for about 10 yrs now, the best was a Harley St nurse but the second best was done by a really cheap and cheerful place. I went there twice but he has now left the UK. The last time I had it done was really poor; although the guy had good reviews. Worst tho, he has left a mark right at the end of my nose, where the needle went in.

I am just wondering will it ever go away? It looks like a broken vein, it's horizontal.

I would love to have an Actual Nose Job but I think that I can't afford this. I know it's a false economy to keep getting fillers but I just can't seem to save up enough; I think a nose job is about £5,000 here and I am scared to go abroad e.g. Turkey or Poland as have read lots of horror stories.

I have been to my GP twice about it, first time I got referred to ENT who said my nose was definitely broken but as it's cosmetic they can't do anything (even though I snore reeeeeally badly). Second time I went to GP they wouldn't even refer me.

I hate to look in the mirror and see what that monster did to my face, so stopping the treatments is not an option. It is so triggering when the filler wears off and my nose reverts to its old, mangled shape.

So if anyone has similar experiences with the mark left, or can recommend a GOOD non-surgical nose-job place (I am in SE England, can go to London if needed), I would be very grateful. Or even if you have had a nose-job really!

Thank you for reading x

Could your family lend you the money? Or a 0% credit card?

Sorry to hear this. A plastic/reconstructive surgeon would really want to help fix your nose, especially since it is one feature occasioned by trauma that is causing you anxiety.

Can you try going to another GP and get referred to another hospital? If you snore really badly, I would have thought that that is affecting your breathing hence it is not purely cosmetic?

Please don't go overseas to do your rhinoplasty. Too much risk.

I have the name of a private cosmetic surgeon in London who specialises in rhinoplasty. He lectures on the topic and will tell you exactly what you need and give you an attractive nose. Happy to give you the details if you PM me.

Caveat: I have never used the above outfit so don't know how good they are. They are South East and free consultation.

Yes please do DM me the details. So unhappy at the moment.

I am tempted to go back to the GP but I have other health conditions and I feel like I am always calling them!! I think the snoring is a real issue; it is really loud and I stop breathing sometimes so I think I have sleep apnoea.

Thank you x
