How to have great hair?

Although I have a fairly decent hair routine where I get a regular cut, colour and highlights I wonder if I am.missing any hidden gems. I have very thin, fine hair at the front and I think approaching perimenopause is likely to make matters worse.
Are there any amazing shampoos, does heated styling really damage the thickness of hair? I'm quite sceptical about supplements but am happy to be convinced.
Any and all tips most welcome!

Nothing useful to offer, except solidarity and watching with interest 😀

Ignore any suggestions of biotin as it only works with a deficiency and you'd know if you were.

I don't think shampoos or conditioners will do anything

Watch The Blowout Professor on YouTube. I started his hair trinity routine a year ago (he will give you recommendations based on hair type), and my hair has been transformed.

I now only use heat 2 times per week, always sleep wearing a silk bonnet and I invested in the Dyson air wrap (although he doesn't endorse the air wrap at all!) Now when I wake up I take the bonnet off, take the silk scrunchie out, brush through and my hair still looks good.
