Anne French cleansing milk

Now that this product has been discontinued does anyone know of a similar consistency cleanser? Especially if for a similar price. I've tried a couple of cleansers but I'd describe them as lotions rather than milk despite the fact that they call themselves milk.

Sounds fussy maybe but I liked the way AF worked and felt.

I loved this stuff, even the smell! Wish we could still get it!

Gave me blackheads.
Worst cleanser going.

Well different people get different reactions to different things... but it's really the texture I'm after so….

Gosh, I'd forgotten about this stuff. I agree with Tuftykitten. It was awful. It didn't clean my skin at all and left an unpleasant residue.

DMil used it and switched to a Boots cleansing milk... I think it was cucumber scented.

Thank you!

I loved it but did not realise it had formeldehyde in it! Just as well it is off the market now. Cannot think of one similar. But used to rinse my face afterwards and it felt lovely!

I’ve still got a bottle in the back of my cupboard. Forgotten about for years as I started using other brands. I won’t use it and wouldn’t recommend anyone else using it but I have been known to sniff it occasionally

I used to love Anne French.
I use Dr Hauschka Soothing Cleansing Milk now. It's slightly thicker but can be washed off with water or a cloth. It is quite pricey at £27 but a bottle lasts for months. It does not remove mascara off though.

I agree, I'd like to find something similar myself (at a reasonable price). Everything is wash off now apart from micellar water but I'd like something a bit gentler on the skin. I've tried a few different things but agree, they are far more lotiony. I too just want something with the consistency of actual milk. That means it can't come in a tube so I think the Primark one is unlikely to be suitable.
