You know the type - waspish waist vampy sort of thing preferably made from silk and fantasy.

After a loooong winter wearing wellies and a boiler suit, I want to shock my DH into realising there is more to me than being good at calving and the flannelette nightie with kilt socks at night.

It's fabulous, I can knock three or four inches off my waist before it gets uncomfortable, and I get a cleavage.

Are the WILDLY expensive if you don't mind me asking? Mind you, I have not spent anything on clothes for months apart from thick woolly socks.

I was going to recommend the Fairy Gothmother ones - they look gorgeous. Or do you want something off the shelf?

She's on the south side of Glasgow otter, and doesn't travel as far as I know, but might be worth a phonecall. When I bought mine (two years ago now) it was £200 for a satin one, £225 for plain silk and £250 for silk brocade. I went along for a fitting, then she made it up and I tried it on when I went to pick it up, but there were no alterations needed. I've just left rural Perthshire and am now in Fife, but could meet in Dundee or somewhere if you wanted to look at it?

Actually, if you wanted to see it on / try it on, it would have to be at a house!

These are sensational.

I've got a vollers corset, and although they're not cheap they are worth every single penny. Just ask DH..........
