can you afford £250? I think it's reasonable (ish)

DH needed a suit for some of his work and he got a nice one in M&S for about £100.

£250 is a lot for an off the peg suit imo

dh had two made bespoke by a tailor for not more than £300 each

Slater's are brilliant

They have a huge range of suits at a variety of prices. They stock nice brands at very good prices- from £99-£250+ for a suit altered to fit.

It's brilliantly arranged and they have great assistants who will measure you and when you've chosen the suit, pin it for their free alteration service- for trouser/sleeve length and trouser waist.

They have the suits in two price sections, with the pricer stuff in a seperate section.

I don't work there, honestly , but it's been my DHs shop of choice for work suits for the past 10 years. He's a nightmare around shops usually, but he finds Slater's really hassle free- and he's used 3 different branches over the years.

Reiss are for skinnies, too

Ede & Ravenscroft do a good semi-bespoke if you are in London
