Can anyone recommend a product for dark eye circles??

I have tried Roc and at the moment using the new Garnier caffeine eye roll-on but nothing seems to reduce the dark bags under my eyes. I get plenty of sleep, exercise, healthy eating but have had them since having DD 3 years ago??

touche eclat

FWIW i have been told that dark circles are caused by not drinking enough water and having too many toxins etc. but you wanted to know a product to conceal them, and i use touche eclat as well

sticktoit · 04/05/2008 21:11

Thank you - will get touche eclat but anything to physically reduce them not just conceal?

Where will I find neals yard white tea gel?

p.s. I always drink 2litres of water a day, never miss a day....

IMHO I think touche eclat can be really obvious on people as it is light reflecting. More so now when people begin to get a colour on their faces. I really suffer with dark shadows and use Lancome anti-cerne softening concealer applied with a brush, a 15 ml tube lasts forever as a little goes a long way. It is also cheaper than T.E but no matter how tired I am it seems to do the trick and most people seem to think I always look well (or so they say!).

a make up artist on The Wright Stuff last week recommended heavy duty made by mac and bobbi brown. know you want a solution, not a cover up - but thats all i;ve got !

i get awful dark circles, unfortunately its hereditary in my case and goes with the sallow skin. i use the boots no7 concealer, but cant get rid of them

lilolilmanchester · 04/05/2008 23:24

touche eclat doesn't work for me, although if you haven't tried it, you should as most professional make-up artists use it. Anyone found it doesn't work for their really dark circles and found something else that does?

OracleInaCoracle · 04/05/2008 23:26

ooooh, boots 17 do this banana split stuff that went under your eyes underneath your makup. its fab!!!!

MinkyBorage · 04/05/2008 23:27

themoon66 · 04/05/2008 23:29

Got same problem. Cover ups work for a couple of hours out. But most of the time I look like i've two black eyes no word of a lie.

Watchign this thread like hawk.

benefit ooh la la lift

am allefgic to touche ecalt

sticktoit · 05/05/2008 09:53

I've ordered a touche eclat so fingers crossed it works for me. There are lots of products around guess it just trial and error.

Anyone tried the Avon Anew one (the one thats got two sections in the pot)?? It promises to diminish the look of under-eye bags and puffiness.
