Annoyed with myself for not asking about the boots

I stood behind a lady in a shop queue today and she was wearing the loveliest boots. I'm so annoyed tonight that I didn't just ask her where they were from.
They were cream lace up boots, not quite as chunky as doc martins. I'm on an endless google search now.

I was in a queue with my daughter who said oh I love
her trousers so I wanted to show her ‘go for it’ and asked where they were from

she said o they are my mums I think they are vintage -insert designer-
so out our price range 😆

but I’m glad I asked

Chunky but not as heavy as DMs

@Chuchoter they looked leather, plain, no stitching and light coloured soles. Probably slightly less stitching than the pavers ones you've linked - but I do like them, a lot.

If I see some wearing something I love, I often ask them where they got it from. Unfortunately the last one, a lady wearing a lovely floaty kimono,said “India!”

Sounds similar to these ones from M&S. I saw a woman wearing them around Christmas time and she looked fab. Sadly they’re sold out in all sizes.

I pretty much live in those M&S ones. I even have multiple back up pairs for when they wear out. They are as comfy as DMs but not as heavy, and the leather is softer.
