What top to go with this skirt?

Hello all, I really like the look of this skirt:-

However, I'm absolutely useless at choosing separates (I live in dresses) so what tops would go with it?

Thinking of wearing it on an evening out to a casual -ish gig with boots.

I'm 45, 5 ft 7, size 12/14, enormous boobs so have to be able to wear a decent bra, and I have a bit of a tummy which I'm a little self conscious of.

Budget - happy to go to £60 or so.

I've got a fine knit sweater I wear with mine...

I wore this with mine today alongside chunky black boots, a few layered necklaces and simple rings/earrings. I am early 40’s, size 16 with BIG boobs and 5’5’’.

I have this jumper in about 8 colours as so light, great washing and easy to team up with skirts, trousers, jeans etc. Handy to layer with as well.

I have a, very similar skirt to the leopard skin one and I either wear it with a black long sleeve t-shirt or a chunky sweater, I don't know what to wear with in the summer as I've not had it long enough

Next did a black satin skirt under their own brand currently in Clearance. I can vouch for the quality. The khaki green one is superb too

I have a few XL for a looser fit and a few L for a neater fit. It was an XL with the skirt today and a half front tuck.

I have the leopard print top and a selection of fine knit jumpers on the way to try 😊

The skirt is lovely.
I (5'8'' sz 14) also big bust, bit of a tummy, would wear it with a close fitting, gathered, cross over top. They flatter bigger busts and the folds disguise the tummy, and I would NEVER tuck a top in a skirt.

Any colour....always black for me, with some nice jewellery to break up the starkness.

Fine knit tops on the way here as well …..

Can someone please link the Zara jumper, i can’t find it.

I have a similar satin skirt from Next but an animal print rather than plain. Ideally I would have liked a cooler top rather than a knit as I am peri and often prone to overheating indoors.

I love the look of the fine knit jumper/top but I am a tall 6ft size 18 @OatFlatWhiteForMePlease do you think the XL fine knit might stretch to a size 18 please? We don’t have a Zara anywhere near us mainly rely on NEXT so I have no idea of sizes so would have to be an online order.

@Chocolatey1234 Uniqlo have some long sleeved slightly fitted t shirts in cotton which might be a bit simpler to the fine knit but thinner.

Cashmere is cooling, trawl the sales, there are some bargains to be had.

Melissa Murrell has doe a few videos since xmas with these skirts on and talked/showed tops and shoes/boots. You may find them on her instagram for Dec or Jan and I think she has done a video on her tube since xmas..

Everyone I have seen in these skirts wears them with a boxy chunky knit jumper or a fluffy short-ish jumper. They look good with both.

@Chocolatey1234 i was a size 18/20 and the XL was more fitted then but still worked. They are loose now at a 16, I have had done of them for 6/7 years.

I have a very similar skirt from M and S and wore it to a festival with this top and white trainers. Looking back at pics, I needed more fake tan!!

I've only worn mine in good weather, because I can't work out what socks or tights to wear if I wear chunky boots with it - can someone please tell me!?!
