Hi. My wellies have perished and they didn’t really keep my feet warm anyway so I’m looking for something to go walking in - we only do canal type walks so doesn’t need to be too heavy duty. I’d also do the school run in them if it was snowy and would use them for football every week. I’d still like to look vaguely up to date while doing so. Budget ideally under £60 but could be flexible for something that would last. Thanks.

Not up to date but in terms of practical, very comfortable shoes to keep your feet warm and dry I have some shoes similar to these https://www.merrell.com/UK/en_GB/moab-3-gore-tex/52985W.html which I use for country walks and muddy dog walks in the woods year round. Maybe a look and see if any are in the sale.

I have a pair of teal Jack Wolfskin walking boots. They are wearing well and didnt rub from the start.
