poncetastic mate has given me space NK vouchers for my birthday. I'm normally a boots17 and Olay type, so am not sure what to get. have £40, so I am guessing this won't stretch far . What can you recommend?

Are you in London? There's a Spa NK in Westbourne Grove, I think. It does lovely treatments.

cornsilk · 04/05/2008 18:11

Everything in there is really nice. You'll like whatever you come out with. What about cosmetics? The staff are ever so helpful and you can spend hours choosing and deciding. I went in looking for a lipstick and came out with a completely different shade which I would never have considered but suited me so well - I've just bought the same shade again.

greenday · 04/05/2008 18:17

... with the help of a very patient staff ...

MrsMattie · 04/05/2008 18:19

They also do really nice posh hairbrushes and makeup brushes if you want an investment.

cornsilk · 04/05/2008 18:20

Oh yes - they do fab nile files.

PerkinWarbeck · 04/05/2008 18:22

ooh - hadn't thought of treatments.
I wonder if they do them at other branches. I am in London, but nowhere near Westbourne Grove.

will have a look at the other products, but am nervous about getting addicted to expensive gear!

chantecaille lip balm in a colour to suit you. it is truly fabulous.

Heathcliffscathy · 04/05/2008 18:27

i think that liz earle cleanse and polish is fabulous, just as good as eve lom imo and fraction of the price.

PerkinWarbeck · 04/05/2008 18:28

lol at SWC.
have had a peek at the website, and it appears that they have a salon at the Brunswick Centre too. Am now torn between getting cosmetics or a treatment....nice dilemma to have though .

just seen the prices of the facials and they are mightily over budget . so products it is.

OP posts:
MrsMattie · 04/05/2008 18:34

Ooh yes, they are pricey aren't they? @Perkin.

I reckon you should go for something completely decadent that you will probably never buy again!
