Lisa Eldridge - what's good, what's not so good?

I've got a velvet lipstick and now I'm so intrigued by this brand. It's like charlotte tilbury used to feel back in the day. The lipstick formula is DELICIOUS. What else is good? Anything I should avoid?

I was planning on a no buy 25 as I have so much makeup to use but this thread makes me want to buy half the range!

my pin point concealer arrived today and it’s great. It works exactly like LE said it would on her YouTube video this week.

re knowing what colour, I contacted LE customer service via Instagram to ask for advice about colours and they sent me a load of samples in little pots so I could try at home. How many brands would do that?

and no I don’t work for LE but as a cosmetic brand I think it’s fab both products and customer service and that makes me go back.

@MabelMoo23 how did you pick your concealer colour, just the online chart that references the tints?

I emailed customer service, I was asked to send photos. They then sent me 2 pots of skin tint and 2 of the foundation

I like the mascara and eyeliner. The tinted lip balm is nice but not very long lasting. Lip liner is so-so, but I don’t wear a lot of lipstick.

I was a bit disappointed by the skin tint. I think it’s because my skin is quite dry and it seems to make every pore show up!

I used the matrix (although not easy to find on the website)

so I’m a 10 in foundation and 6 in Skin tint and just cross referenced those which gave me the number 4 for the concealer

but for anyone wanting help with choosing a shade definitely message the LE team - they are so helpful.

Thanks that matrix is much more useful (and easier to find through Google). I'm now just stuck deciding if I'm more golden or neutral, I'm kind of both might consult their customer service and see what they say.

Ive every skin tint and foundation known to man and her skin tint is the best by far. I love her lipsticks and pencils too
Everything I have tried has been great

Once you’ve got your colour in one (foundation or skin tint) it’s really easy to find the corresponding colour in other products

@workshy46 does the skin tint have any texture blurring/wrinkle blurring properties?

I really love what I have so far from this brand which is a luxuriously lucent lipstick in the shade painterly which is beautiful, really pretty colour and the formula is amazing. Also have a velveteen liquid lip colour plus a lip pencil (I'm a sucker for lip products) and they're all great. I think I will get the skin tint next and possibly a liquid eyeshadow. Have emailed them asking for help with a shade for the skin tint and they replied super fast and have been lovely. Great customer service!

LE has a pop up in London this week. Just saying.

I have that one, it's lovely, can use it with lots of different lipliners too.

It's more that evens things out without looking cakey.

There's a website called Findation where you can input your existing foundation or concealer shades, and it then tells you what shade you're likely to be in any other brand. Really useful imo

I sent some pics on Instagram and they matched me perfectly.
