Cardigans are always difficult. As a clothing item they are quite dated, but something like this is way more on trend.

Mmm I don't think many cardigans are very stylish and this one...sort of looks like the ones you used to be able to order from the back pages of the Sunday Mail supplements.

They are a bugger to wash! I know someone who imports them they are really warm though

Doesn't look special enough for that price. Like many tall people, I find button up cardies difficult to wear because I often size up for sleeve length. If you are short then go for a different look or a less long open face cardigan.

My 86 year old Mum has a few of this style - it's a no from me.

Colour is a bit meh on that one but style good

Interestingly, my mum - who passed away in 2022 age 90 - owned a lot of button up cardigans in the style that this thread says is contemporary. I guess some styles are timeless.

It sort of depends on your age, it's the sort of thing I can see a stylish late 70s or 80 plus woman wearing.

I love a buttoned up cardigan and a great fit for most ages too.

What's so noteworthy about this cardigan to write a thread about it? Am I missing something? It's a very average, grannyish looking cardigan.
