Has anyone done a "best waterproof mascara" type thread?

Because I need one that definately will not run or smudge, and am fed up buying them only to be disappointed.
I thought cod may have done one but can't find one at all.

From personal experience clinique and Max Factor are reasonably good

clinique

I just bought some

I told the lady 'no mascara always runs on me there is no point' so she put some on me and I went away for the day

I came back with my money

it is fab

it has some thermal technology so it only comes off with plain warm water or make-up remover

Try Blink Lash tubes - it's a completely different type of mascara as it forms a tube around the lash - it wont run or smudge, and stays in place all day. You only apply 1 layer, but can build it up to look as natural or false lash-like as you want. Easy to remove too - just rub gently with water and the whole tube cames off your lash! Definite recommendation for summer holidays/weddings etc !

ok, will look at clinique, had never heard of blink lash tubes, here's more info for anyone else who may be interested...
