I have very fine hair, hairdressers tell me I have lots of hair, it's just super fine. I usually want to maximise volume but am also time poor and wary of heat damage so I don't tend to straighten it or use the babyliss big hair very often. Day to day I might straighten my sweepy fringe but most of the time I end up quiffing it away from my face. If I was going out for lunch or similar I'd use the big hair or straighten it all.

I'm already lost looking at the Dyson and shark, and have looked at GHD too. My hair is about shoulder length, I'd like to grow it longer but that is a super slow task. I'd like something versatile that would work for fine hair, not make it super static and be less likely to cause heat damage.

Any recommendations gratefully received!

I have hair like yours and use my Big Hair every day. My hair is in great condition (according to my hair dresser). I don't think it is any more harsh than a normal hair drier/brush combo.

Big Hair ruined my hair so I switched to the Revlon One Step which I use after drying it with the hair dryer first. It hasn't damaged my hair,I use a bit of heat protector.
