What to wear to passing out parade?

Hi,

My husband has his passing out parade on the 17th of January from Pirbright and I was wondering what I can wear for the occasion. I don't really have a clue on what would be appropriate as I haven't been to any sort of formal occasion in my life. I don't want to wear our traditional clothing(Nepalese) as it'd make us seem out of place. Any suggestion is much appreciated.

Thank you! 😊

nice dress and smart jacket or coat. No need for a hat (unless you want one to keep warm!) but I'd add a nice scarf and gloves as the parade square will be cold. Smart trousers would be OK too, but definately look groomed with make-up and accessories as they'll be taking formal photos of you with your DH

Good advice.

I was at Pirbright yesterday it was absolutely perishingly cold. Passing out parades are formal occasions with lots of photos.

Wrap up warmly and smartly, including hat, scarf and gloves. Have a brilliant day.

Sumina,
Namaste 🙏. I think you would not be out of place in your traditional Nepalese clothing. Wear it with pride and enjoy the parade. I wouldn't mind betting you will not be the only one in Nepalese dress.
