If I wanted to get my eyebrows looking like this images.eonline.com/eol_images/Profiles/20061006/244.sossamon.shannyn.100506.jpg

what exactly do I do? Do you think they are just naturally thick or does she paint them in? I am thinking of having my hair cut and a shorter fringe but my brows are light brown.

Well I think hers are naturally dark but it looks like she's filled them in a bit to define them more.

My eyebrows have lightened and become sparser as I have got older.I now use this

Experiment with a brow pencil a couple of shades darker than your brows to begin with, if you go too dark it will look odd. Also make sure your brows are as neat as possible.

I tint mine. They are very blonde naturally. The longer you leave the dye on the darker they go. Have to be careful or it looks un-natural and too dark but it's just practise.

ok - I have some eyebrow hairs which are approaching an inch long, I kid you not. Is the trick to use some kind of wax to keep these in place or should I pluck them?

You can actually use little scissors and trim them. You need a steady hand tho! I used to do this because I coveted Yasmin Le Bon's Eyebrows (sad I know) and she does it. Is a faff as you can only do one hair at a time but worth it.
Just pluck the stragglers. I wouldnt wax unless you have VERY bushy brows but thats me.
