Allergic reaction to Laura Mercier caviar stick

I splashed out and treated myself to 3 eyeshadow sticks. I have amethyst, cocoa and sugar frost.
Ive used them for a few weeks and have developed awful excema, irritated and sore red skin all around my eyes. Gutted!!!

Can anyone recommend a decent swap? Esp for the amethyst and sugar frost ones? I can’t wear normal eye shadow palette as have a hand tremor so was utterly thrilled to discover the sticks and be able to wear makeup again.

thank you

Butterflies Eyecare online retailer do eye crayons that are free of all the usual suspects like Nickel, Cobalt etc. Search for the Eye Care jumbo waterproof eyeshadow sticks.

I'm so sorry to hear this, but it happened to me, too. Irritation after even a couple of hours of wear. Different brand sounds like a good shout. Good luck!

@moimichme you as well.. do you mind me asking what brand you went for instead?

Take them back. They’re really expensive and that is not acceptable. I’m sure LM would refund you.

I had similar with the victoria beckham eye stick so don't try them

I have pretty reactive eyes and not had a problem with the Bobbi Brown eyeshadow sficks.

@JMAngel1 sadly I live miles away from the shop I bought them from so no chance to take back.
It is bad that some brands are so expensive yet filled with nasties
