Have any of you lovely people bought something expensive/designer from Vinted before and used the Authentication service? I'm eyeing a gorgeous bag but it's crazy money to waste if it ends up being a fake.

@LittleRedRidingHoody The most I've spent on Vinted was a cabbages and Roses dress £140 which I could see wasn't fake. I haven't used the authentication though was offered.

I'd look very carefully at the seller , their reviews and what else they are selling. No reviews , weird name with letters and numbers are usually scammers . EBay is meant to be safer . Not really answered your question sorry - have they got any proof of purchase - though I'm not even sure that is a guarantee as can be copied and photoshopped.

@FurForksSake do try Vinted , although you can find new things there the majority is second hand. (Pre-loved) . The search button is brilliant you can filter for size, brand, fabric and once it learns what you like the algorithm will find you more. It's also incredibly easy to sell on there.
