I am COLD today! And hayfevery. And a bit miserable with it so wearing hush burgundy cargos £80?) and a big cosy max Mara grey sweater with a burgundy green and cream fair isle pattern £360 and fluffy socks.

I have to go to London later and will wear theory black trousers £180 and an another weekend top £200 and a dvf black and emerald green metallic patterned evening coat (it’s ancient but was probably £500) and I’m not sure what shoes yet

It was actually lovely today - the girl on the till at T K Maxx complimented me on it! I actually wasn't buying clothes for once - just two Easter/Spring touch/feel books for my little grandson to go in his Easter basket.

I must confess to taking two things back though - a cream linen ruched top which was too tight, and a pair of beige suede trainers which had a weird, uncomfortable lump at the instep!
