Love this dress as it has an empire line top. Very much says 'look at my boobs and legs....and ignore whats going on in the middle!'😂

I'm cosy in a navy Brakeburn fair isle sweater dress, a bargain £32 several years ago, when they discontinued this wool & cashmere mix in favour of modern fibres. Thick tights and my black Urban Outfitters school shoes, £29 in a sale. Didn't need a coat, hurrah!

I'm enjoying my first wear of very wide, brown linen-mix trousers, £39 from M&S, with a much older, cropped cotton sweater in a sort of murky peach. It was about £5 from Everything5pounds (RIP). Odd socks. If I drag myself outdoors, I'll add Rieker ankle boots with a brown floral print, £64 from Pavers. I feel pretty good in this outfit.

Been at home in scruffy clothes for several days - gardening and chilling.
