Where can I buy Savon de Marseille in person (UK)

Does anyone know any shops that you can choose from a range of Savon de Marseille and buy bars singly?

There's a wide choice on Amazon but the shipping costs are a lot. Maybe there's somewhere more independent I could visit?

Wherever I visit, TK Maxx always have them in stock.

I think Liberty does them? Not 100% sure though.

Re-found objects in Corbridge always have a lovely selection - much cheaper than a lot of places too. But you need to be in Northumberland.....

Surprisingly, I was in Morrisons yesterday and noticed they have an aisle for all weird things like a gazillion plastic boxes, shopping bags and bars of Savon de Marseille soap! It was really odd - like Aldi middle aisle but on steroids

GCAcademic · 31/12/2024 12:12

The soap shop in the covered market in Oxford used to sell them, but I haven't been there for ages so don't know if that's still the case.

mitogoshigg · 31/12/2024 12:39

I've bought it in supermarkets but it's hit or miss

I've picked up a few good bits like this in Morrisons recently so thanks for the tip off!

This place is always worth a visit anyway, currently using the lily of the valley scented soap.

Bridport market in Dorset regularly has a stall if you're ever in that area.

TheDandyLion · 31/12/2024 16:08

I've seen them at craft stalls and christmas markets in various places.

Independent gift shops in SE London.

I always feel there should be a good french supermarket in London (and a Spanish one, and a German one) but it is always online with very high postage costs.

But savon de Marseilles you will always see in TK Maxx and numerous gift shops, markets etc.
