My forehead is getting wrinkles and they are getting deeper day by day. I use anti-wrinkle cream, but it has no effect. Do you know of any specific brand?

I use retinol from Paula’s Choice and it’s excellent!

Tretinoin is the only cream to make a difference and it will take time
Moisturiser will help to make them less obvious, they all contain the same ingredients so cheap ones are fine.
Deep wrinkles need Botox
A good LED mask used consistently may help.

I used Dermatica for a tret subscription. I've gor a nose crease and it has definitely become less prominent since my prescription increased to 0.1%. I started last March.

I have fairly recently started Prai creams and serums. I was quite a sceptic but decided to give them a try having read good reviews and I can definitely see an improvement.

Retinoids and Botox.

Geneticsbunny · 31/12/2024 13:09

Daily Spf 50 will help slow down them getting worse a bit

Apileofballyhoo · 31/12/2024 13:14

Tretinoin on prescription or retinol. Medik8 crystal retinal is probably one of the better ones. You'll need a sunscreen of SPF 50 daily and not just when you'll be out, even going outside to get something for a couple of minutes can cause irritation as your face will be very sensitive to uv light.

Organic rosehip oil , on all creases had kept wrinkles at bay for years

Agreed. I get mine from Dermatica. You get a personalized formula made just for you. SPF 50 every single day is a must, and it's a marathon not a sprint - will take months rather than weeks to see results

Turkish Trent and Botox for me

Disgustin · 31/12/2024 17:51

Sorry tret not Trent

Cynic17 · 31/12/2024 17:53

I don't. We all age. Save your money and just embrace it.

Namechangefordaughterevasion · 31/12/2024 18:02

Botox and a LED mask work for me.

Mindyourfunkybusiness · 31/12/2024 18:04

I go derm and got a setup for my needs, minimal amount of cosmetics some prescription. I have a retinol in my collection though, that works the hardest!

Sasskitty · 31/12/2024 18:04

Botox. No creams or expensive skin care will be as effective.
Drink water

wineandsunshine · 31/12/2024 18:09

I'm using tretonin from Skin & Me - about three months in but I can't say there's been much improvement on my forehead wrinkles....

Any advice on timescale for my face to look like I'm 25 again?!

standardduck · 31/12/2024 18:12

You can try retinol, but if your wrinkles are already too deep it might not get rid of them completely.

The only thing that would get rid of deep wrinkles is Botox.

But retinol + spf can make some difference and prevent them getting worse.

You probs need Botox for the dynamic lines

noobiedoobie · 01/01/2025 12:19

I think order of effectiveness is Rosehip or other oils > retinol > tret > botox. Obvs not all at once but that's probably order of cost too.

I can recommend face yoga too. Danielle on You Tube Face Yoga Expert has a daily 10 min ritual.
