Grown out bob with fringe, ideas for making it look ok

I'm growing out a short bob. I have a fringe which I've cut myself so it's still quite short.
I need ideas for getting through the growing out stage without going to the hairdresser. I blow dry it and it looks good for about an hour, then it just looks a mess. It's too short to tie back.

Any ideas or links to videos of getting past this in between stage so I can get a longer cut in about a month. It was last cut in October.

Can you put some light waves in? That was my go-to look during lockdown.

I've just had mine cut too short (my fault - I asked her to go a bit shorter this time) so I'm just drying the crown and letting the rest dry naturally which means it will flip out at the ends which looks okay.

Stay away from heat if you can. Deep conditioning masks will be your best friend and take a sea kelp supplement. Holland and Barrett do a really good one. In the mean time check out videos on YouTube. There's so many cute ways to pin your hair back into different styles whilst you grow it out 🙂

I should have mentioned that it's pole straight with not even a kink and won't hold any kind of wave. It's shiny, fine and slippery!
