Babyliss curl secret 2: anyone used one?

DH gave me an amazon voucher for Christmas (that he bought from our joint account at 8.30 on Christmas morning but that is another story) and I'm thinking of getting an automatic curler.

I have naturally curly hair but it sometimes needs a bit of a helping hand so I use curling tongs but these look like they might be quicker and more practical.

Has anyone here used the babyliss.curl secret 2?

I think I had the first model and to be honest I found it a real faff and wasn't keen on the type of curls it produced. I find curling with hair straighteners much quicker and easier. My hair is short and fine for context.

No advice, but 😳 at your DH.

I’ve got the first one, I quite like it.
I think if you’ve got naturally curly hair, it should work well - it should sort of set them. I like the type of curls it produces but can see why others wouldn’t - it’s definitely more curls than the bouncy blow dry look!

Thanks for your replies, I think I'm going to give it a try. I'm definitely looking for spirally curls rather that the bonne you get from a blow-dry.

I have the first one, and I have super straight fine hair. It creates curls that stay, if I set with hair spray. Nothing else works for my hair. I would think it’ll be a good buy.
