What glasses are on trend at the moment?

I know different glasses suit different faces but just curious to know what is on trend right now? Had mine for a few years and could probably do with a refresh but haven't seen any that have caught my eye recently.

I switched a year ago to a bigger, rounder frame. I don't know about trends since then but I doubt they've changed much as as they usually move quite slowly.

I don't take much notice of what's supposed to 'suit me'. My view is that all glasses look a bit weird and then you get used to them. I've worn lots of styles and liked them all.

Wire frames

Have you got any independent opticians near? They tend to have more unusual frames. I've recently got an amber coloured frame with black arms , a solid (frame & arms) wine/maroon (depending on how the light hits them) and a solid brown ( not tortoise shell) pair of sunglasses. They were some really nice green ones & some that looked similar to abalone. It really depends on you and what you usually wear.

Yeah I think more choice of colour is also quite a current thing. My latest ones are dark green.

@Floisme , Im considering going back to order the green ones I saw.
There was a few purples and blues too not in an 80s style ( whenever I think of coloured glasses I think Su Pollard!)

Yes @Hskatkat I remember when coloured frames had a bit of an unfortunate 'I'm mad, me' vibe!
