Looking for lovely new black knee high boots- recommendations?

Ideally in the sale! I had to throw out my trusty black boots I wore to work for years, they finally died after many times going to the cobblers! I'm looking for a lovely new pair, anyone come across any they'd recommend? I tried some on in Schuh but they were so uncomfy and cheap feeling.

I'd love a leather pair that feel soft, knee high and with a block heel not more than about 7cm high. I've no idea where to look! Thanks

A bit more pricy but absolutely gorgeous boots here from Fairfax & Favor. I’ve got them in mahogany and they’re so lovely. They’re really comfy too.

Thanks all for the recommendations, I've ordered a paid from Jones the Bootmaker! But also eyeing up ones from LK Bennett... they're nearly half price in the sale so wondering if I should get them too, to try on that is, one of the pairs would go back!

The F&F ones are gorgeous apart from the 'spanish riding boot' styling above the zip.

The Jones ones are nicer than the LK Bennett ones.

Has anyone seen any in the same knee high style in black suede?

I wanted not too tall a heel as they are for work and i already have some ankle boots with a bigger heel and I can't walk in them for the whole day!

I decided not to get the LK Bennett ones too, hopefully the Jones ones will fit!

With a smart pair of boots like that one, all you need is a smart overcoat and you look presentable, even if you're in a tracksuit underneath it.
