Micro needling? Peel? LED light therapy? What has worked for you?

Help!

I'd like to have a couple of treatments in the new year to rejuvenate my skin a bit but I'm a bit bamboozled by the array of things on offer! My local salon offers micro needling, nano needling, peels, LED/laser therapy...

I'm 43 a few fine lines/wrinkles, slight rosacea across my cheeks. My skin is looking a bit dull and saggy. I just wondered if anyone could advise? Any recommendations please?

It will depend on a lot of factor op, how much do you want to spend on a course? How much down time are you willing to have with redness/ sore skin? What’s your routine with skincare like at home? It would be best to book in for a consultation and be honest about budget and how often you can commit to and go from there.

I would (depending on budget!) go and see a dermatologist or specialised aesthetician who does prescription skincare - treatments are really good but I find my skincare gives me the best consistent results.

Thank you. I was looking at the website of my local salon so maybe I could pop in first.

With regards to downtime, I'd probably be able to work treatments around school holidays as I'm a teacher. Would t want to rock up the next day with a bright red face!

Not sure about budget - I'd be willing to pay more for a one off treatment or treatments that were several months apart.

My existing skincare regime is fairly basic: cleanse with Cerave facial wash, tretinoin and moisturiser - that's it!
