What are the best outfits to travel to Vietnam in?Stop over in Dubai for a few hours. Not looking for high end fashion but more comfortable yet stylish.

Always natural fabrics and always layers
I wear a cotton shirt dress which is almost like a long nightie… more comfy than leggings or joggers.
I wear trainers but swap then for Birkenstocks when on board.
A good neck pillow and an eye mask.

I wear similar. I like a cotton jersey dress with pockets plus wide leg Jersey trousers in with cotton, modal or bamboo. Easy on shoes. Plus flight socks for long haul. I also take a light weight pashmina. Just a little extra warmth, can double as a pillow plus if I can use it as a hair covering if needed.
I always pack speared undies and socks, and a small tube of moisturiser and lip balm.

Usually soft joggers, or jersey trousers and top here. Extra hoody as it gets cold in the night (or I do!) Flight socks are horrible but better than DVT and I always take fluffy socks, spare underwear, tooth brush etc for when change flights (my Ds1 lives in Australia so we do it fairly regularly ) I hate trainers but as my feet tend to swell on long haul they are least unconfrtable option.

I'd wear something like the Hush Gillian top (soft and loose with modal) with leggings and an oversized sweater over your shoulders for an extra layer.

I find dresses uncomfortable to travel in. I usually wear lightweight sweatpants from Sweatty Betty, t shirt, cashmere sweater, and a lightweight cashmere pashmina if the flight is cold.

I usually wear jeans to the airport, and then get changed before I get on the plane. I love lightweight cotton/linen trousers in black or a dark colour. Something like this:

Complete plane outfit would be:
secret support cami top
cotton v neck cardigan
flight socks
flats (e.g. ballet pumps)
sunglasses
scarf/pashmina

Just in case the air con is cranked up high, I bring a fleece. I also take a spare set of undies and swimwear in my hand luggage.

I frequently travel to that part of the world, stopping over in the middle east or Europe, depending on the airline.

I wear this dress with a zip up black hoodie if gets cold on the plane. I wear black tights and remove them and the hoodie before I disembark in Vietnam/warm climate and put on a straw hat to shield from the sun.

My choice is a long denim pinafore dress, under it is a cap sleeved tee and a bralette with pants one size up and tights with a wool cardigan, and birkenstock clogs. This way I can be warm for the plane but cool enough for landing, and my stomach isn't bound up in any way. Upon landing, the tights and cardigan go in the suitacase.

dinhoecotour · 22/12/2024 08:43

When and what parts of Vietnam are you planning to visit?

helpmyback · 22/12/2024 17:01

I wear soft jersey joggers, t shirt, and a cardigan or full zip hoodie. Wear bralet or sports bra.

I wear trainers or teva sandals and thick socks and if I have them disposable slippers (stolen from the hotel)

I take deoderant dry shampoo toothbrush and face stuff for lay overs and grabs shower if I can.

I take a large scarf too and a decent neck cushion

XxSideshowAuntSallyx · 22/12/2024 21:04

I have a pair of light weight trousers (with an elasticated waistband),t-shirt or vest, jumper/cardigan, denim jacket, converse and socks. Or I'll wear jeans. I get cold on a plane.

Couldn't wear a dress or skirt on a plane.

Doggymummar · 22/12/2024 21:12

Always travel I. My north face duvet shoes.

MrsCarson · 22/12/2024 22:06

I never wear a dress to travel. I wear stretchy pants with pockets, a cotton tee shirt and a hoodie as I get cold on the planes, socks and comfy trainers, or if going somewhere hotter, socks and Birkenstocks, keeps my feet warm on the plane then take the socks off once I've arrived.
