I bought some shoes, now I need tips how to stop them from killing my feet!

They are these but in a different colour
They felt comfy in the shop , they are for a wedding, and normally I wear flat shoes.
Should I wear plasters round all my toes before I even put them on!! Will I be the sad mare at 2am dancing barefoot?!!

The Party Feet range, and I think there are other brands, has all sorts of gel pads to help with this sort of thing - as well as the little half insoles, they also do gel "spots" which you can put inside your shoes at pressure points. I'm a bit like you, usually in flatties, but at a wedding last year I used the spots, plus I put either Compeed or Scholl (can't remember which) gel blister plasters (from Boots) on my toes before the blisters formed. I survived in one piece (but was still barefoot by midnight...)

those aren't high at all!
You'll be fine.
Just wear them around the house before you go.

Honestly I thought you were going to link to some like this

lol at those shoes - think I would be thrown out of the wedding wearing them
you see I did wear them round the house last night and my toes were starting to get that scrunched up rubbing feeling
will investigate the gel pad thingies thanks
