(sory - R is still a little unreliable)

so, after wearing one of my new bas (for the fist time) today, the wiring of the ight cup is digging in unde my armpit (hate thta word, but unde my underarm sounds stoopid)

so, it's too big in the cup, no? o is it just a shit ba? (it's the cheapest of my new ones, it's linea)

I never listen to what fitters say as have had some that well meaning ladies MADE me buy. tried them at home and they were so uncomfy. She wants me to have great cleavage, I just want something comfortable and if flattering, it's a bonus.

Take it back. If labels are off tell them nicely you were mis-advised. I had no prob doing that in M and S/ john Lewis.

Maybe you bought a crap bra. I know I've done the same (but still keep one very nice one just incase my whole upper body changes overnight!!)

WowOoo · 01/05/2008 13:32

Could also be that you need to have one made.

I never did this (am bigger and fatter on one side), but posh friends tell me it's well worth it if you can afford.

Titter · 01/05/2008 13:34

heck i didn't know you could have bas made to measue

bet they'd be lovely to wea

you were 36 before you say

if you have come down a bra size you may well go up a cup size

sometimes both can fit - eg if you were 34d you'd be 36c

maybe it is too tight for you and you actually needed to be 36c

Cappuccino · 01/05/2008 13:36

oh good grief bras made to measure

tutter is not specially designed she has just got an uncomfy bra

Titter · 01/05/2008 13:37

i've come down a 'back' size and up 2 cup sizes

was wearing 36B

now wearing 36D - but she did say i was boderline C/D and in fact one of the 4 bras i bought was a C

Titter · 01/05/2008 13:37

Always try bras on before buying. Different styles and makes can fit quite differently no matter what the size on the label says.

Titter · 01/05/2008 13:38

"tutter is not specially designed"

[hurt]

OP posts:
Titter · 01/05/2008 13:38

i did, dusty

in fact the fitte "fitted" them all

it's only aftera few hours wearing it that it's become uncomfy

mistlethrush · 01/05/2008 13:39

But if the back's not tight and the wire is digging in, you might need the same back size but a larger cup size...

Cappuccino · 01/05/2008 13:39

if you go down a back size you will go up a cup size

if you have gone up two cup sizes, I don't know. You have had implants or Are Weird

(no, Weird is not the same as 'specially designed')

dustystar · 01/05/2008 13:40

Can you move the wire at all? I sometimes get this with one of my bras when the wire has slipped too far to one end.

Titter · 01/05/2008 13:40

but it's digging in unde the am

if i went up a cup size it'd dig into my back

I ordered a load from Bravissimo in the same size - only one fitted. I think bras are like all the clothes, some makes fit certain shapes better than others. Take it back and try somewhere else!

Titter · 01/05/2008 13:50

ok, have removed bra fo examination

i think it's because it's a cheap bra

i can feel though the fabic that the undewie doen't have plastic on the end to make it rounde and more comfortable - the metal just sot of ends, and has a square end

that's annoying - i bought two of them

OP posts:
dustystar · 01/05/2008 13:56

Can you take them back?

Titter · 01/05/2008 13:57

have removed labels, but next time i'm in HoF i think i'll take them along and have a chat about my predicament
