Finery London

Sadly need to buy a complete outfit for a family funeral. It’s a formal, traditional event. Seen a couple of dresses by Finery London on M&S website. Are they any good? I’m not familiar with the brand as I live overseas. Don’t have any options locally so need to mail order.

Sorry for your loss. I don't have any Finery but it's my go to brand to reccomend for funerals, interviews, formal work wear on a budget. It's more interesting than Hobbs, Phase 8 and cheaper. I've seen posters saying the quality is good.

I used to buy a lot of Finery clothes and the quality was always really good. I find the styles just don't suit me any more but that's more a me problem. I'd have no concerns about shopping there if I still liked the clothes!

I used to get a lot.of stuff from Finery and it was indeed good quality and interesting.

Sadly both in my view, the quality and designs have gone significantly down hill.

I used to have a couple of items from finery and the quality used to be really good as pp said, now when I have seen the brand irl I have noticed that the quality has gone downhill unfortunately.
However, it is not terrible, and depending on your price range and the specific item of clothing it will probably be good. I think they started particularly good at quality for the price range and maybe wasn’t sustainable, so when I see it I think is not good quality, but I am mainly comparing to what I had before a few years back.
But the same can be said about M&S, Cos, and many others unfortunately.

Finery is sold via tu sainsburys and there are a few sale items if you haven't bought yet .
