Merchant of Venice perfumes

Just discovered these by chance in a perfume shop. A quick squirt of the tester lasted all day even after showering and I love some of the scents. Murano glass bottles, supposedly.

They seem to be over £200 in the UK but they are under €180 here so about £150. Please talk me into buying one! I've never spent anything like as much.

I bought a sample set when I was in Venice earlier this year. My favourite was the Byzantium Saffron. I bought a full size bottle in Harrods - I think it was £150.

The sample set are very heavy perfumes. I liked them because they remind me of Hermès' Ambre Narguile, which is very heavy, intense amber based perfume.

The Byzantium Saffron actually reminds me of creosote- which along with lanolin (aka the smell of wet sheep) is a smell I really like. (Scroll along to the the cat with the Glasgow accent talking about smelling like a fence post)

This is the one I am considering. Today is the day I have to make my mind up.
