NYR of 2025 Being put together and glam

I know someone who works F/T, got 4 DC and has loads going on in her life, and she always looks bloody fabulous. She looks the opposite to how I feel which can be described by this mornings routine.

I got up at 0615, put washing out, put on 2 loads, emptied the bins, got my lunch ready for work, washed some pots, then had 2 coffees, then only had 15 mins to get ready so didn’t shower, left for work dishevelled and just did my makeup on the bus.

I’m not a total disaster. My skin care routine all these years has paid off, and I’ve got to a good weight and work out a lot. I’ve got a decent hair cut. It’s just the superficial stuff I struggle with. I rarely have my nails done, I’ve a fancy Dyson all singing all dancing hair styler but not had time to use it yet (had it 2 months), I’ve nice clothes and accessories, I’ve great makeup, and I’ve nice jewellery.

I was away for a weekend recently, and went to a lovely concert. I was running late/ tired and ended up staying in my jeans and jumper rather than putting on the lovely dress I’d taken.

I’m not sure what my problem is; time, motivation or what? I just know that I want to look more polished, put together and glam in 2025. I’m getting older, and I want to look and feel good for my age. I know that I scrub up well because I’ve been given fabulous comments when I’ve been to weddings and finally made an effort.

Sounds like you just need to be better organised and manage your time better.
