Slim fit men's jumpers

Ideally wool, v neck (if I'm honest I think DH would benefit from non- slim fit but the heart wants what it wants...)

Cannot find anywhere apart from Hugo boss which is ££ and only comes in grey and navy (yawn)

I was going to say that uni qlo sizing seems to be based on a smaller frame…

but if as you suggest slim fit might not actually be the most flattering for him, I think you should try True Classics. I think they started out with just t shirts but the range now includes trousers, jumpers, outerwear as well.

I haven’t used them personally but I keep on being fed their adverts which claim to be flattering on all men, particularly those with a bit of a ‘dad bod’ or beer belly. My male friend had one of their hoodies and said he felt really good it in and it seems nicely fitted to me.
