I got a daith piercing and it feels weirdly... good?

It kind of feels like it's sitting right at, and stopping, an itch I didn't even know I had. Anyone ever had that? It's my sixth ear piercing, and I am in fact a migraine sufferer, although I decided to get it primarily because of aesthetics rather than because of its reputed antimigraine properties. None of the other five had this weirdly... physically satisfying quality to them.

I know exactly how you feel about the itch and being weirdly satisfying.
It's supposed to be an acupuncture point.
I've got a daith piercing for migraines, I have fewer migraines than before the piercing.

Oh wow it is so interesting to know I'm not the only one. Google didn't turn anything up - plenty of waffle on the migraine issue, but nobody else going "how did I not know I needed someone to stick a needle through there".

I do have my fingers crossed for fewer and less intense migraines. Ironically I had to cancel my original appointment to get it done because of an absolute beast of a migraine.
