Perfect skin - order of products

Calling on the amazing skin experts we have in Style and Beauty.
I have so many products from calendars and beauty boxes, but I don’t really know what to do with them.
I don’t tend to wear make up all day Saturday or Sunday, but do at night. So the weekend seems like the ideal day to use my skincare products. What would the ‘perfect’ skin care day look like from waking to going out in the evening?
Today, I’ve used an exfoliating face mask, then applied vitamin C serum. Have used BioEffect EGF serum around my eyes. No idea if this is right!
What else should I use as the day goes on? I imagine I have almost every type of product going. I love skincare products but have very little knowledge of how to use them.
I have clear skin, which is prone to dryness but not easily irritated. Late 30s.

I'm confused, you only use skincare products on the weekend? If so, it doesn't matter how you use them as they'll not have much of any effect when used so infrequently. Just adding more products on top isn't going to do much of anything either except potentially ruin your skin barrier.

General order of skincare is thinnest consistency to thickest, SPF always last. Consistency is key and less is more is the golden rule of good skincare routines. If you're using actives, pH of the products come into it and certain actives can't be used together in the same routine.

@botemp no I use skincare every day, but when I get ready at 6.30am I don’t have time to faff with facemasks, etc.
So weekends are the time when I can get through all of my products. But I don’t know the best order to use things, or how much is too much in one day.

My basic routine is

Am
Cleanse
Toner if you wanted (hydrating or exfoliating)
Serum (vitamin c or hydrating)
Moisturiser if needed
SPF

Pm
Eye makeup remover
Cleanse
Toner but not exfoliating if used in the morning
Serum
Moisturiser

Or I would do a face mask after cleansing then moisturiser

Eye cream am or pm but if it's an spf one then am or a retinol one then pm

I use tretinoin but the above routine is guessing that you don't

I cleanse then use first aid beauty facial radiance pads, the ordinary rebalance serum and a moisturiser xx

Using lots of different products from a calendar is not actually great for skin, as skin likes consistency. It’s a good way to trial products but once you find one you like, buy a big size and use it consistently. Despite being a massive skincare fan I steer clear of calendars, partly because I don’t want to ‘discover’ something that is ridiculously expensive in full size, because again, consistency means lots of repurchasing of the same thing.

Would also steer clear of physical exfoliation as that tends to be too rough.

AM
Cleanser
Moisturiser
Sunscreen
Make-up

PM
Cleanser
Retinol/retinoid
Moisturiser

Keep it simple.
