Ooh fun thread OP.

Did - beige/mole/mocha (never found a shade that suited my colouring until now), loafers, barrel leg jeans (not exactly this season, but hey) and bomber jacket was probably my most-worn mid season item of clothing

Didn’t - animal print, satin midi skirts

Sourisblanche · 13/12/2024 16:21

Did - Chanel dupe cardigan (cream and navy), gold earrings, sezanne cardigans.

Didn’t - wide leg trousers and animal print.

Purplecatshopaholic · 13/12/2024 16:31

Love ‘em..
Defo got on board with a bit of leopard.
Also love a Mary Jane, both heels and flats.
Wearing white, ivory, cream, etc.
Also enjoyed green and enjoying burgundy at the moment.

Didnt love ‘em..
Dont care what trainers are in, lol.
Polo shirts, transparency, long shorts can all Get Tae.
Bomber jackets are just not my thing.

DreadPirateRobots · 13/12/2024 16:34

Did: exaggerated barrel legs, pointy flats, leopard, burgundy.

Didn't: Mary Janes (just don't like 'em - cutesy) and satin bias-cut skirts (don't wear skirts, and bias-cut just doesn't work on me).

FancyBiscuitsLevel · 13/12/2024 16:38

Like this idea!

did:
pointy flats, beige, green and then burgundy

didnt:
bomber jackets, satin skirts, Mary Jane’s.

Britpopbaby · 13/12/2024 18:19

Ooh I did and do still Mary Jane’s and wide leg jeans

Bomber jacket as I already own one.

Didn't:
barrel jeans (everyone in them looked like they'd been on a horse for too long, esp the vertically challenged wearers)
bias satin skirts - they screamed polyester, even when they weren't

Did:
wide leg
leopard
biege/brown/green
skinny belted waist
white shirt

henlake7 · 13/12/2024 19:48

stripeyshutters · 14/12/2024 09:36

Ah but you have to know the trends before you can comment on this 😂

SabrinaToolmaker · 14/12/2024 09:41

I knew about a lot of these but burgundy being on trend completely passed me by. I’ve been wearing my burgundy jumper completely oblivious!

I have embraced wide leg trousers though and the big gold earrings.

Coalplay · 14/12/2024 09:43

Oh Mary Janes

they kept trying didn’t they?

Radishknot · 14/12/2024 09:44

I’m bloody glad they did, I can’t always afford Carel!

Coalplay · 14/12/2024 10:00

I don’t understand what your post said
also,

all the pointy flags looked so uncomfortable,. She also kitten heels unless you’re like a size 6 you look like an elephant on tiny points.

Radishknot · 14/12/2024 10:16

I’m glad that MJs and ballets came back in so I could shop in high street shops rather than only buy expensive ones.

evtheria · 14/12/2024 10:41
