Soft running clothes you can actually run in but not too expensive

Does anyone have any recommendations please? I have asked dp for these for Christmas for motivation to start running regularly. I’m five foot four and size twelve. I don’t want to have ones with cashmere or anything but ones that feel soft.

Those who bought the Amazon ones. What's the sizing like please? I'm a 14 and cannot stand having to pull them up all the time. Additionally are they hand wash only as the label says or have they survived the washing machine??

Has anyone actually run any distance in these cheap Amazon leggings you're all recommending? I mean, I'm presuming not but I'm prepared to be surprised.

I do 4 miles a day, so not loads .....but I'll let you know how they go 🙂

I wear Nike and Asics. Very comfortable.
