Any ideas for styling this skirt for winter?

I bought in late summer and wore it a couple of times with a plain T shirt and flat sandals and I felt great in it.

obviously it’s blinking freezing and damp now so I wouldn’t try wearing it for a day out and about but might like to try wearing it to one of the (casual) family dos I have over Xmas.

i have nice flat black Mary Jane shoes that I think might work but no idea what might work on the top half! Black sweater? Other colour sweater? It’s tulle obviously but not flimsy really, not as insubstantial as eg a satin slip skirt, so I’m thinking it MIGHT be winter-appropriate…?

Oh ps it’s longer on me than the model, very definitely a maxi.

and pps I’m 48 and a size 10, roughly five seven tall…

I have a similar skirt in a dusky pink colour and wear it with tights and biker boots and either a chunky knit sweater, or a t shirt and leather biker jacket with a scarf of some sort.

Oh I have biker boots! Those would work great I think. Will try them and try a chunky sweater on top. Do you think I have to stick to black if my boots are black? I have a great chunky olive sweater and a chunky grey one. Or a less chunky black polo neck.

Will try it with chunky grey jumper snd black biker boots! I have a pre Christmas lunch at my in laws this weekend so I will try it for that. Thanks for the advice!
