Heart necklace or pendant thing similar to below.

DH wants to buy me a small heart shaped necklace. I am in my fifties and want something timeless and classy either gold or white gold. Any suggestions up to about £300.

Or I quite like this blue coloured necklace in the photo below but would like it less dangly.

I think you’d be lucky to get a decent 9ct gold relatively plain heart shaped pendant for the £300 these days, certainly if you’re looking for something of the sort of weight and design of the pendant and chain in the photo.

The likes of Monica Vinader, Astrid & Miyu, etc are charging £160 for interesting looking pendants made in gold vermeil at the moment.

If you have already have a gold chain, perhaps focus just on the pendant and I often find antique shops / second hand areas in independent jewellers have some of the most interesting pendants / lockets.
