Some blokes wore cardis in the 80s and I never liked then then. Now they are back again with the 80s revival and every time I see one I still shudder.

They are one of the most unmanly items of clothing, don't you think?

I love a man in a cardie - even a short bald man if I'm honest (in fact bald = sexy). I wish DP would wear one but he's very set in his ways.
