My sister gave me FITFLOPS. Has anyone got some?

I wore them yesterday for the first time on the school run. These are the shoes that are supposed to give you a workout just by walking in them. They are designed using the appliance of high science apparently.

I think my legs did feel kind of warm in certain places, almost as if I'd been doing some exercises so I'm hopeful.

Ooh you lucky devil...I've got my eye on these but I'm working up to forking out £££s for them!

Do they run true to size or come up big/small?

hertsnessex · 30/04/2008 15:17

OH, NEVER HEARD OF THESE, LOOK GOOD THOUGH, MAY TRY A PAIR

heymammy · 30/04/2008 15:17

Duh...just read the rest of the link re sizing, seems they run a bit bigger.

heymammy · 30/04/2008 15:27

Bugger it...just ordered some . That was a really good link by the way Spidermama, they offer free p&p and free returns/exhanges!

Sunshinemummy · 30/04/2008 15:35

Funnily enough DP brought me some back from US yesterday but it's too cold to wear them today.

hertsnessex · 30/04/2008 17:44

I want some nowwwwwww!

Spidermama · 30/04/2008 19:44

I thought they came up about right size wise but a little narrow for my great big paddle feet.

I do like them though. I honestly think they're doing something - when I can get up any normal walking speed with my three year old stopping to examine every paving stone that is.

don't some of the birkenstocks claim the same thing?

Lizzylou · 30/04/2008 19:52

OOh, do they work? I am saving up for some, bit tight moneywise this month.
I've seen bronze ones in Boots.
I am hoping they can lift my behind and streamline my thighs

cupcakes · 30/04/2008 19:56

I have these as does my friend. She claims to feel them working and had a satisfying post-exercise ache with them but my legs just felt normal. Have been wearing them in fair weather for about 2 weeks now. They are comfy though and I was even able to run in them the other day when chasing after ds on his bike.

LynetteScavo · 30/04/2008 20:01

I'm soooooo not sure about these. They're not exactly georgous, are they. They sell them in a shop near me, and I'm just not sure if I should get some or not.

Spidermama · 30/04/2008 20:10

I do feel a post execerise muscle warmth after wearing them. But I agree they aren't all that gorgeous.

Does anyone think their posture is better when wearing them?

LynetteScavo · 01/05/2008 20:56

bump

meglet · 02/05/2008 12:37

I can't comment on the flit flops, but I tried my friends MBT's once (which I guess are very similar) and they gave me fab posture. Felt really tall in them.

DarthVader · 03/05/2008 20:18

I think MBT sandals would work better as the design of flip flops makes you curl your toes down which is not ideal
