What colour to wear with Burgundy?

I have a beautiful burgundy/raisin cashmere jumper that I'm planning on wearing with either dark green trousers for more smart casual or jeans for casual. I'd like a silk blouse to go underneath, I don't know what colour to go for. Do I go tonal or contrast? I'd like it to look elegant not like I've got dressed in the dark Xmas Grin

Cream

Cream or a light taupe/coffee/mocha depending on what suits you.

Its kind of a neutral so most things. I like it with grey, pink, cream/camel, black

Navy

Light blue also looks nice with burgundy.

Cream or light blue.

Try not to pair it with navy, I still shudder at my school colours although the Headmaster, who couldn't pronounced his "R's" insisted it was mawoon.

I was thinking about light blue, cream is lovely but a bit safe. Saying that I'll probably end up with cream!

I think green is the best. Cream would be a bit meh and light blue would look like a football strip
