Anyone got these shoes from FitFlop? Verdict?

These trainers

These chelsea boots

Been having some arch pain (hypermobile ankles, overpronating feet etc) so tempted to try these. Want the support but still want to look stylish. Does anyone have either of these shoes?

I have both too! Really comfortable!

Very interested in these boots and trainers, but I have very wide feet. Does anyone know if they’d work for freakish wide feet? Thank you!

I also have wide feet, in fact I always think my feet are rectangular as they are not tapered really but they fit me really well. In response to the other poster asking about sloppiness I think they are good grips on the boots. And the trainers tbh as I wear them dog walking all the time.

GreatGardenstuff · 08/12/2024 08:44

I have the trainers in a different colour. Actually I now have them in 3 different colours as they are an absolute dream to wear!

WandsOut · 08/12/2024 08:59

I have several shoes, boots and trainers from them and they are so comfortable. Would definitely recommend. The main thing is getting the right size. Customer service is exceptional though.

Lentilweaver · 08/12/2024 09:01

Are the Rally trainers just as good for walking on concrete?
Tbh I don't really like the look of them but willing to sacrifice looks for comfort.

GintyM · 08/12/2024 10:04

Try Vionics, also very very good for these issues

FairTurtle · 08/12/2024 19:15

Interesting thread..I've been looking at Fitflop shoes. Everyone who has them - are they generally true to size?

faustina · 08/12/2024 20:17

I've found them to be true to size mostly. The descriptions on their website tend to mention if they come up narrow or wide etc, and there are plenty of reviews which are really helpful

Typerighter · 08/12/2024 20:18

I find all fitflop shoes dont have a high enough toe box for me so the front of the shoe skims the top of my big toe very painfully. I've tried a range of styles. It's very annoying as the rest of the shoe fits nicely.

Lentilweaver · 08/12/2024 20:26

They don't seem to have half sizes?

Itdoesntendwellatall · 09/12/2024 16:19

I've worn them since they first came on the market. I had serious pain with PF that returns even if I wear Skechers, Adidas trainers (or anything else) for half a day.

I have MS and developed quite bad foot drop a few years ago. My beloved FitFlops weren't helping me walk as well as they used to but I bought a pair of their running shoes, the FFRunner, a few months ago.

Revelation! They have the forward propelling thing that makes it easier to keep me from stubbing my toes and tripping over them. They make walking considerably easier for me. I have a laugh in my head as I've never been much of a runner and am a full-time crutch user.

The F-Modes are a little heavier than the runners but still extremely comfortable. Most FitFlop customers are repeat purchasers but you'll either love them or hate them.

If you take the plunge and decide to buy more don't buy their outlet Vitamin FFX trainers. They're really comfortable but the heel cup broke from forcing my worst foot into them. Whoever designed those designed them with a tongue so the laces may as well not be there. They're a royal pain to get on/off.

faustina · 09/12/2024 19:56

@Lentilweaver - mostly they do have half sizes, but they're quite hard to find except at fitflop itself

Lucked · 09/12/2024 23:14

I have the navy trainers, they are a bit frumpy but very comfortable. They are much cheaper on Amazon although the price fluctuates.

SereneCapybara · 09/12/2024 23:33

Not those. But I have some Fitflop chelsea boots that they no longer make which I love so much and are finally showing signs of wear after six years of being worn pretty much every day for half the year. I bought them when I had bad plantar fasciitis pains and they were the only shoes apart from Skechers that I could walk in for more than a few minutes.

They last forever and they help heal foot pain. I just wish they still did chelsea boots with a traditional heel instead of the wedge.

Ooh are they frumpy? They look quite stylish and like.modern on the website?

FairTurtle · 10/12/2024 00:09

Following! Been having some arch lately too.

To those who have the trainers - do you find they look stylish/modern? I love how they look on the site but a pp described them as frumpy so reluctant to order!

I have 2 pairs of the trainers and have compliments from my DC (in their 20s) and people of different ages.

MumWifeOther · 10/12/2024 16:39

The boots are really quite nice! The trainers are awful in my opinion. What about on cloud trainers?

Purplecatshopaholic · 10/12/2024 19:27

I was going to buy the Chelsea boots. In the end I got these ones instead:

I bloody love them. I wear with skirts or trousers and they are really comfy when my plantar fasciitis flares up.

EwwSprouts · 11/12/2024 08:46

@Lentilweaver I have 3 pairs of Rally trainers because the first pair I bought were so comfortable walking round London on a long weekend. I have leather, knitted and hi-top.

@Painaupain Another with wide (duck) feet and they fit me well.

Wizzywoo18 · 11/12/2024 12:19

I got Fit Flop chelsea boots after suffering from plantar fasciitis and I wore them to death as they were extremely comfortable.
I do find their sizing comes up slightly large so may be worth trying a half size down as well as your regular size.

Lentilweaver · 11/12/2024 12:58

Thank you @EwwSprouts. I will give them a try. Mostly need them for London pavements.

HardenYourHeart · 11/12/2024 20:36

FitFlop? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Raffybow · 08/12/2025 20:26

I have bought the lukus and old Walkstar favourites in the past and live in them at home . I’m stuck on trainers and which is the best for PF and arthritis and over pronation . I’m usually a size 8 in the sandals and size 9.5 in normal tiger trainers so stuck what to choose - any help will be appreciated
