What kind of top? Advice please 🙏

Any ideas on what to wear with high-waist wide-leg navy trousers? They’re quite smart but I’m not wearing them for work, more as a step up from more casual trousers to go out in. I need to cover the waistband (as it’s been let out a bit and there’s a gap) but not beyond as they have a nice pleated front and pocket details at the back. I was thinking a long-sleeved white shirt/blouse tucked in and eased out, but will that make it look too office-y? 🤔

@CryptoFascist thank you. The trousers have a fine silver pinstripe so a Breton won’t work. That’s a lovely blouse but too expensive unfortunately. Will look for something similar 😊
