Help . Seem to have ordered a coat I didn’t order from Vinted

Hi

i order bits and pieces now and again . I ordered a jacket a few days back . Just went to check on Vinted and saw another item, another coat saying it’s been sent .

jow the coat I wanted is being sent . All fine .

this is a different seller and different coat and not the sort of thing I’d ever wear £ mud it’s nearly £60!

it’s already been sent .

how could this happen and what can I do .

Well you obviously bought it without meaning to? You must have had an email with your receipt for a start.

Either someone has logged into your account (change your password). Or you have clicked on it and bought it by mistake.

Ask the seller to confirm the address it’s going to on the label. If it’s not your address report to Vinted, if it is your address and your mistake you will need to resell it yourself as the seller doesn’t have to accept a return (unless they have a Vinted Pro business account - unlikely).

i didn’t . I’ve looked and no emails. Checkled spam as well.

All My parcels go to parcel shop . So be interesting where this goes .

I can see it says bought on Monday but can’t see anything on site about where its going to

Found the email . But it says bought a5 a time I was a5 work and I don’t use phone at work . And I didnt go on Vinted that day . Too busy. I’ve asked the seller what address .

Also change your password on there if you have not already.

Check the profile details and change your password pronto.

Has the money gone from your account?

I had something unexpected arrive. No clue as to who sent it, assume they duplicated a label from something I brought and put it on another parcel somebody else brought? I've kept it but nobody has been in touch (and no extra money taken). I buy a lot but once transaction is complete I delete the conversation and I don't really feel like wasting my time messaging various sellers asking if its theirs. I'll donate to charity at some point. It was a worn looking t-shirt for a child so doesn't seem high value.
